AudioNest

Terms of Use

The rules for using AudioNest, kept short and in plain words.

Effective October 14, 2026

In short

AudioNest plays and organizes audiobooks you already have the right to listen to. It doesn’t sell, host or supply audiobooks. The files you import and the cloud services and servers you connect are your choice, and so is making sure you’re allowed to use them.

The main points

01

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and The Blue Rio, LLC, which makes AudioNest (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using AudioNest, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Apple’s standard license agreement for App Store apps also applies.

02

Who can use AudioNest

You can use AudioNest if you’re old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you’re not, a parent or guardian needs to agree for you.

You’re responsible for how AudioNest is used on your devices, including any cloud service, cloud storage or server you connect and the key or password you use for it.

03

Your AudioNest Account

An AudioNest Account is optional and free. You sign in with Apple (or, where offered, with an emailed code), and you’re responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one person.

Your account keeps a locked copy of your library so it can follow you to your devices. It’s locked with a key only your devices hold, so we can’t read it, recover it, or restore it for you if that key is lost. Keep a backup too.

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, for example one used to post objectionable names or pictures.

04

What you share with other listeners

If you join a league, other listeners can see your name, profile picture and listening numbers. Your name and picture must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, or pretend to be someone else, including AudioNest or its staff. There’s no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

AudioNest checks names before they’re saved. You can report a listener’s name or picture, and block anyone, from their profile. We review reports, and remove content and act on accounts that break these rules, normally within 24 hours.

You keep the rights to your picture. By adding one, you let us store it and show it to the listeners who can see your profile, only to run AudioNest.

05

For your own listening

AudioNest is for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t run it as a service for other people, sell access to it, or use it to pass audiobooks on to others, unless we’ve agreed to that in writing.

06

Only audiobooks you have the right to use

Use AudioNest within the law, and only with audiobooks you own, have a license for, or that are free to use, like public-domain recordings. Follow copyright law and the terms of every service you connect.

Don’t use AudioNest to copy, download, keep or share audiobooks you don’t have the right to.

07

We don’t support piracy

AudioNest doesn’t sell, host, find or share audiobooks. We don’t support piracy or copyright infringement in any form.

Being able to import, connect, download or play something in AudioNest doesn’t mean you’re allowed to use it. Having the rights you need is up to you.

08

What you bring is your responsibility

You choose the files you import, the cloud services and servers you connect and the book details you add or change. You’re responsible for having the right to use them, and for keeping your keys and passwords safe.

You’re also responsible for what follows from those choices, including any legal, privacy or security problems that come with a file or service.

09

Services we don’t run

AudioNest works with services run by others: the cloud services, cloud storage and server software you connect, Apple’s iCloud and App Store, Apple Intelligence, and public book catalogs that supply covers and descriptions. We don’t control them. They can change, limit what you can do, go offline or close, and they have their own terms.

We can’t promise any of them will keep working with AudioNest.

10

Book details can be wrong

Covers, descriptions, summaries, series, narrators and chapter names come from public catalogs, from your files, and from Apple Intelligence on your iPhone or iPad. They can be incomplete or wrong. We don’t check outside information for accuracy, and you can edit any of it.

11

Premium and purchases

AudioNest is free to download, and everything you need to listen is free. AudioNest Premium adds more, as listed on the app’s Premium page. Premium is sold through the App Store, and Apple handles the payment.

There are three plans. Prices here are US prices; the App Store shows the price in your country before you buy.

For the Monthly and Yearly plans:

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, and you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.

If you get a new device or reinstall AudioNest, tap Restore Purchases on the app’s Premium page while signed in to the same Apple Account.

We may change what Premium includes or what it costs. A price change never applies to a period you’ve already paid for.

12

Your library and backups

Your library, progress and listening history are stored on your iPhone or iPad, and backups go to your own iCloud Drive. With an AudioNest Account, a locked copy is also kept in your account. We can’t open backups or the locked copy, so we can’t recover them for you. Keep Back Up Automatically on, or save a copy to Files, if your library matters to you. The Privacy Policy explains the details.

13

AudioNest belongs to us

The app, its name, the bird, its design and its words belong to us and are protected by law. These terms give you a personal right to use AudioNest that you can’t transfer to anyone else. We keep all other rights.

14

What not to do

Don’t copy, share, sell or rent out the app, and don’t reverse engineer, decompile or take it apart, except where the law allows.

Don’t use AudioNest to overload or attack any service, to get around security or limits, to collect data you’re not entitled to, or to copy its design into another product.

15

Changes and misuse

We may add, change or remove features at any time, including ones that depend on outside services. If something we run is misused, such as sending spam through Contact Us, or posting objectionable names or pictures, we may block that use or the account.

16

No guarantees

As far as the law allows, AudioNest is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We can’t promise it will be free of errors, always available, or work with every file and service.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for lost data, problems caused by outside services or imported files, wrong book details, or how AudioNest is used. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can’t be given up.

17

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and big changes will be mentioned in What’s New in the app. If you keep using AudioNest after an update, you accept the new terms. If you don’t accept them, please stop using the app.
