Help with AudioNest, the audiobook player for iPhone and iPad.

Or, in AudioNest, go to Settings → About & Support → Contact Us. We read every message and usually reply within a couple of days.
01
You don’t need an account. Open AudioNest and you’re ready. If you’d like your library on more than one iPhone or iPad, you can make a free AudioNest Account later.
To hear something right away, open Search. Free public-domain audiobooks are waiting there, like Moby-Dick and Pride and Prejudice, ready to play or add to your library in a tap.
02
In Library, tap Add Book and choose where your books are:
You can see and manage everything you’ve connected in Settings → Book Sources. One connected library is free. Free audiobooks and imported files never count toward it, and Premium lets you connect more at once.
03
In Library, tap Add Book → Import from Files, then Choose Audio Files. M4B, M4A and MP3 files all work.
If you choose several files, AudioNest asks whether they’re One Audiobook or Separate Audiobooks, and you can check their order. A book split across dozens of files becomes one book. AudioNest keeps its own copy, so the book plays offline, and your originals stay in Files.
04
Yes. Books you import are already on your device. For a book that streams, tap Download on its page.
To see what’s saved and free up space, go to Settings → Downloads. You’ll also find Download over Cellular and Auto-Remove Finished Downloads there.
05
With an AudioNest Account: sign in on the new device with the same Apple Account. Your library, progress, history, collections and settings come across. They’re locked with a key kept in iCloud Keychain, so turn on iCloud Keychain on both devices (Settings → your name → iCloud → Passwords). If the new device says the key hasn’t arrived, open AudioNest on your old device for a moment and tap Try Again.
With a backup: keep Back Up Automatically on in Settings → Backup & Restore, or tap Back Up Now before you switch. On the new device, AudioNest offers to restore when it finds a backup in your iCloud Drive; you can also go to Settings → Backup & Restore. Save a Copy to Files and Restore from a File work too.
Neither one carries audio files or the sign-ins for your libraries: reconnect them in Settings → Book Sources, and import your own files again.
06
An optional, free account. With it:
Sign in with Apple from your Profile. Your books stay private: we never see titles, and other listeners see your name, picture and numbers only if you join a league.
07
In AudioNest, open Profile → Account → Delete Account. Your account, its locked copy of your library, your profile and your sign-in are deleted on every device. If you signed in with Apple, AudioNest is removed from your Apple Account too. The library on the device you’re holding stays there. To remove it as well, use Settings → Backup & Restore → Erase Everything & Start Over.
10
Apple handles subscriptions. To cancel, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, at least 24 hours before your plan renews. Premium stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Subscribers can also tap Manage Subscription on AudioNest’s Premium page.
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On a new device, or after reinstalling, open the Premium page and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.
11
Yes, with Premium. The watch app is a remote for your iPhone, can start your books from your wrist, and has a complication for your watch face. If it didn’t install by itself, add it from the Watch app on your iPhone.
With Listen Without iPhone, your watch plays the book itself over Wi-Fi or cellular when your iPhone isn’t near. Turn it on in Settings → Playback → Listen Without iPhone, which shows once a watch is paired. It works with books from your cloud service and Free Audiobooks. Books on your own server, or imported onto your iPhone, play from your iPhone.
12
What It’s About summaries are written by Apple Intelligence, on your device, from the book’s description. They need Premium and an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. Bookmark Memories need the same.
Without them, the book’s own description shows instead. Tidying messy chapter names is free, and also needs Apple Intelligence.
13
Open the book’s page and tap •••. Choose Find Book Details to search for the right book and edition, or Edit Book to change the title, author, cover or anything else yourself. Your edits always win.

15
Yes. AudioNest has no ads, analytics tools or tracking. Without an account, your library, progress and listening history stay on your device, and backups go to your own iCloud Drive. With an account, the copy of your library is locked on your device before it’s uploaded, and we can’t read it; your profile holds numbers, never titles.
Every copy of AudioNest also sends anonymous weekly book totals: which books were listened to for 5 minutes or more, as one-way codes, with no account or device ID. They help us decide which books get character guides first. The Privacy Policy explains the details.
16
No. AudioNest is a player. It doesn’t sell, host or supply audiobooks. The free audiobooks in the app are public-domain recordings, served by the Internet Archive.
Use AudioNest with audiobooks you own, have licensed, or that are free to use. The Terms of Use say more.
